摘　　要：在总结南京水利科学研究院在软土地基方面部分研究成果的基础上，重点介绍了有关天然软土结构性的最新研究成果和有效固结应力法的设计方法，并提出了建立软土结构性模型的新思路。This paper is a summary of some research works on soft soils conducted in Nanjing Hydraulic Research.Institute during recent 40 years,the special emphasis is put on the recent development in the study of structure of natural soft clays and the effective consolidation stress method in the stability analysis of soft ground.
