摘　　要：杜宝———杜丽娘的父亲,作为《牡丹亭》中一个描写不多但又不少或缺的人物,从这部戏剧诞生之始就遭受了不少的非议与恶评。然而,杜宝并非像很多学者所认为的那样是个反面人物,他为官清廉,尽责尽忠,对待女儿也并非绝情绝义。结合汤显祖的政治理想和从政经历,可以摒除学界认为杜宝是封建家长制代言人的偏见,理解杜宝作为一个父亲的难言苦衷,还原杜宝的真实面目。Du Bao, as the father of Du Liniang, suffered a lot of criticism with the presence of the drama who was an important person with little detailed depiction. In fact, Du Bao was a good governor and he was not as bad as many scholars thought, his sense of duty was very strong and loved his daughter so much. According to Tang Xianzu＇s political ideal and experience, we can get rid of the prejudice that Du Bao was the mouthpiece of the feudalization, and understand his suffering as a father though what he did for his daughter, based on this it is easy to recognize the real face of Du Bao.
