摘　　要：古语有"知己知彼百战不殆",今人言"知讯者生存"。在当今社会处于信息爆炸的新形势下,信息素质已经成为当代大学生能否适应未来残酷社会竞争的重要条件。文章解释了信息素养的定义,阐述了其重要意义,并通过调查问卷和个别访谈对武汉地区大学生信息素养现状进行抽样调查,对提高大学生信息素质为培养适应社会竞争的创新性新人才进行初步思考探索。The old saying said ＂Know the enemy and know yourself, and you can fight a hundred battles without defeat＂ and the recent says ＂who knows information who survives＂. In the new situation of information explosion, information literacy has become an important condition for contemporary university students to adapt to the brutal social competition in the future. This paper explains the definition of information Literaey, elaborates its important meaning and preliminarily thinks how to improve the university students＇ information literacy for raising innovative new talented people who can adapt to the social competition through a sample survey of the present situation of the university students＇ information literacy in Wuhan area by the means of questionnaire and individual interview. 6 refs.
