摘　　要："图录"是以绘录图像为要而形成的记事方式,它有着十分久远的文化历史,作为人类的文化积累,以载籍的形式传递下来,属于"文化学"的范畴。作为古代一种与文字文献共存的历史文化,在中华文化的发展进程中同样具有重要的现代价值。北宋建立之后是形成这一学术和文化的重要历史阶段——它的形成有着特定的社会背景和文化背景。本文将重点考察北宋以来形成这一学术文化的社会背景。＂TULU（图录）＂ is the recording way for painted images, it has centuries-old culture. As the accumulation of human culture, ＂TULU（图录）＂ is set down by recording books, you can still call it ＂culture＂. As the history culture, TULU（图录） is concomitance with ancient literature. In the development process of Chinese culture, TULU（ 图录） plays an equally important part in the present-day society. The Northern Song Dynasty is the important historical stage that established the learning and culture formation of TULU（图录） has the specific social and cultural background. The article focuses on social background of the academic culture that the TULU has been established since the Northern Song Dynasty.
