摘　　要：分析了DSP与嵌入式处理器各自的优势及两者结合的必要性,提出了一种ARM与DSP通过HPI接口进行高速数据通信的嵌入式视频监控系统方案,给出了系统各个模块的硬件连接,系统软件流程图。实验得到了清晰的图像,压缩比高达72.6,系统运行正常,对市场上视频监控系统的改进具有一定指导作用。Based on the analysis of their respective advantages of DSP and embedded system,the paper introduces a project of embedded video surveillance system,in which ARM and DSP communicate with each other through the HPI interface.It presents the hardware module design and the software development.Clear image has displayed on the monitor and compression ratio has been up to 72.6.It proves that this system works well,which has great values to the improvement of video surveillance system in the market.
