摘　　要：改革开放30年来,尤其是近10年来,学校抓住我国高等教育一系列重大变革提供的大好机遇,在短短8年间实现了六大历史性跨越,站在了一个新的历史起点上。当前,必须从树立和落实科学发展观的高度出发,紧紧抓住曲靖市委政府提出"创建曲靖综合大学"的历史机遇,深刻认识创建曲靖综合大学的战略意义,科学把握创建曲靖综合大学的方法策略,进一步明确学校的办学定位、办学理念、发展目标、发展战略和发展思路,推动学校迈上新的发展台阶。Qujing Normal University has achieved historic progress since 2000, the establishment of the univer. sity because of the favorable opportunity for the development of institutions of higher learning in China. At present, it is essential to seize the historic opporttmity of ＂establishing a comprehensive university in Qujing＂ put forward by the Qujing Municipal Committee of the CPC by setting and practicing the scientific outlook on development, have profound understanding of the significance of establishing a comprehensive university, master the strategies of establishing a comprehensive university in Qujing, and to further define the level, notion, goal, strategy of running the university, thus to promote the university to a new developing stage.
