略论现代图书馆在构建和谐信息社会中的作用

摘　　要：从消除信息鸿沟、缓解社会矛盾,维护信息公平、保障公民权利,消除信息歧视、维护弱势群体,提高用户综合素质、培养用户的生存发展能力以及加大宣传交流力度、培养读者用户的信息技能和信息意识等方面,分析论述了现代图书馆在构建和谐信息社会中的作用,并对如何消除信息鸿沟、促进信息公平提出了措施和看法。The paper analyses the functions of the modem library in constructing the harmonious information society from the aspects of eliminating the gulf of information, relieving the social conflict, maintaining the equity of information, ensuring the civil rights, eliminating the information discrimination, protecting the weak groups, improving users＇ comprehensive quality, and training user＇s living and developing capacities, strengthening the propaganda and communication, and training users＇ information skills and information consciousness, etc. and puts forward some measures and opinions on how to eliminate the information gulf and promote the information equity.
