摘　　要：异种数据库的互操作是数据库研究中的热点问题，而ＯＤＢＣ已成为异种数据库互连的事实上的标准，讨论了实现驱动程序的主要技术问题，如驱动程序的关键数据结构、驱动程序对ＳＱＬ语句的处理、ＳＱＬ语句的执行模型、参数或变量的传递、查询与游标等．The interoperation between the heterogeneous database systems is a problem of wide interest studied currently in database area, and ODBC has become the practical standard for the interconnection between the heterogeneous database systems. After a brief description of the ODBC technique and the design schema of DM2 ODBC driver, some main issues in the implementation of DM2 ODBC driver such as the data structure which the environment handle, the connection handle and the statement handle of the driver point to the processing which the driver converts the SQL statement to DM2 message communication protocol and then sends to DM2 server, the processing of the return message from the DM2 server, the direct and preparatory execution of SQL, the delivery of parameter or variable between the application and the driver, as well as the disposal of the result set returned from query statement using cursor are discussed in detail.
