摘 要:地处东南沿海的浙江,拥有漫长的海岸线和大片滩涂,其地理条件非常适合进行盐业生产。浙江气候温暖湿润,对植物生长十分有利,煎盐所需的大批柴草有了保证。这些,都为浙江盐业生产的发展提供了十分有利的条件。秦时,浙江的制盐业已颇具规模。从三国开始,中国经济中心逐渐南移,浙江的盐业经济也随之发展。宋元时期,浙盐的年产量一般约占全国年总产量的四分之一。探讨浙江盐业经济的发展过程及其社会影响,很有意义。Zhejiang, located on the southeast coast, had a long coastline and large areas of beach and its geographical conditions were very suitable for salt production. Zhejiang's climate was warm and humid, very favorable for plant growth and a large quantity of firewood for the need of boiling salt was guaranteed. These provided very favorable conditions for the development of salt production in Zhejiang Province. In the Qin Dynasty, Zhejiang had large-scale of salt production. From the time of the Three Kingdoms, Chinese economic center had gradually moved to south and so Zhejiang's economy had followed the development of salt industry. In the Song and Yuan Dynasties, Zhejiang's total salt production was about a quarter of the national output. It is meaningful to study the process of salt economic development and its social impact of Zhejiang.
