摘　　要：OLAP系统应该能够集成常见的分析数据源,并提供对立方体的方便快速的建模,XML的潜在优势能很好胜任这一角色。论文首先介绍OLAP系统中XML应用角色及OLAP API的技术现状,在对现有OLAP产品研究的基础上提出开放OLAP系统应遵循的一般原则,最后结合Mondrian系统,给出一个基于XML的OLAP服务系统开发实例。OLAP system can integrate common data resources and provide an easy way to carry on cube modeling.The potential advantages of XML can afford to do this.This paper firstly introduces the application fields of XML in OLAP system and discusses the actual situations of OLAP API technology. Based on the research on the current OLAP products,it presents some criterions to which an open OLAP system should conform.Lastly,an example of OLAP system development based on XML is demonstrated.
