摘　　要：本文细致地分析了双模光纤中存在的模式及其椭圆芯光纤的特性，并详细地讨论了椭圆芯光纤在光纤传感、色散补偿、模式转换等多方面的应用。In this article, we analysises the modes in dual-mode fibers and the transmission properties of the elliptical core fibers in details, and discusses their applications in fiber sensor, dispersion compensation, mode conversion and so on.
