摘　　要：新发传染病疫情是对疾病预防控制健教育工作的挑战。该文结合近年来广东省成功控制SARS、禽流感疫情,以及世界大环境下新发疾病的疫情进行讨论,认为疾病预防控制健康教育工作是人类战胜疫症的重要法宝,只有通过疾病预防控制健教育工作深入的开展,才能提高民众自身知识水平,保持健康平和心态和正确生活方式。Emerging infectious diseases （ EIDs） are the challenges to disease control and prevention related health education. This paper conducts the discussion combined with the EIDs under world environment, and successful control of SARS and avian influenza in Guangdong Province. The recognition is that disease control and prevention related health education is the treasure for humanity to conquer diseases; the improvement of people＇s own level of knowledge and maintenance of healthy calm attitude and the correct lifestyle base on the further development of health education.
