摘　　要：西部民族地区要加快科学发展,缩小与东部发达地区的差距,必须大力培养和选拔少数民族干部,这是党和国家一项重要的民族政策。本文从西部民族地区发展少数民族干部的重要性出发,具体阐述了改革开放以来党的民族干部政策对推动西部民族地区科学发展的历史经验,并从中引发出若干思考。Western minority areas must make great efforts to train and selection of minority cadres to accelerate the scientific development and to reduce the gap between the eastern developed areas. This is an important ethnic policy of our party and the country. This article specific elaborate the historical experience of the party＇s policy of the national cadres on promotion of scientific development in minority areas since the reform and opening up from the importance of the western development of ethnic areas of minority cadres,which benefit raises a number of considerations.
