摘　　要：文章比较研究了北京、上海、广州、东莞等11座城市统计年鉴中关于城市公共图书馆的统计资料,发现这些统计资料对城市公共图书馆建设有较高的研究价值,同时指出了统计年鉴的不足之处,并提出了改进建议。This article compares and analyzes statistical yearbook which figures are about city public library. The areas are including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Dongguan and etc. From the analysis about the actuality of our city public library, we can find out the insufficiency of the statistical yearbook and advance some of the improvement suggestions.
