摘　　要：以上海大学图书馆馆藏评价作为研究案例,阐述在科技迅猛发展的现今,应依托图书馆自动化管理系统及现代计算机技术,以翔实的数据采集、统计、分析的研究过程与研究结果来科学地评价馆藏质量,从而为制订新一轮的馆藏建设方针和文献选择原则、文献采购经费预算及分配提供依据,实现图书馆的馆藏建设优化。This paper, based upon the case of Shanghai University Library., is intended to expound that with the rapid development of modern science, we should apply automatic library＂ management system and computer technolo^r and evaluate the quality of library, collection with detailed and accurate research process and result on data collection, statistics and analysis. With that, this paper can provide a basis for principles of library collection development and budgeting of document acquisition, in order to realize the optimization of library. collection.
