摘  要:勾股测量法是勾股定理的实际应用,在古代中国和印度都曾出现过,而且两国的许多数学著作与天文学著作中都有勾股测量法的记载。两国的勾股测量法由测量太阳高度和晷影长度发展起来,并随着实际问题的需要日益提高。由于社会生活和生产需求的一致,中印两国勾股测量方法存在很多的共性,但都是在各自的本土文化中发展起来的,没有受到外来文化的影响。Measurement method via Pythagorean Theorem is the practical application of Pythagorean Theorem, which occurred in ancient China and India. And many Ancient Chinese and Indian mathematieal and astronomieal books contain problems about measurement via Pythagorean theorem. The methods come from measuring height of the sun and length of solar shadow, and have been improved with the needs of practical problems. Because of the same demand of living and production,there are many common grounds in the methods of measurements in ancient China and India, but they develop from their native land and have not been influenced by external cultures.
