摘 要:以分析纯的氧化铽、氢氧化铝、氧化硅和硼酸等为主要原料,采用传统熔融冷却工艺制备了硼硅酸盐系稀土Tb2O3磁光玻璃,讨论了Tb2O3对玻璃形成区及物理化学性质的影响。采用示差扫描量热仪(DSC)、自制的Verdet常数测试设备和紫外/可见/近红外分光光度计(UV/VIS/NIR)对玻璃的特征温度、Verdet常数和吸收光谱进行表征。结果表明:Tb3+离子的掺入量受玻璃形成区域的限制,在Tb2O3含量为30%(摩尔分数)时,玻璃形成能力较强,热稳性好;玻璃密度和Verdet常数均与Tb3+离子浓度近似成线性关系;稀土玻璃吸收峰位置只与稀土离子种类有关,吸收峰强度随Tb2O3含量的增加而增强。The borosilicate magneto-optical glasses containing Tb2O3 were prepared by traditional fusion method, using terbium oxide (Tb4O7 ), silicon oxide ( SiO2 ), aluminum hydroxide ( Al (HO) 3 ) and boracic acid ( H3 BO3 ) of analytical purity as raw materials. The effects of Tb2O3 on glass-forming region and physicochemical properties of magneto-optical glass were discussed emphatically. The characteristic temperature, Verdet constant and absorption spectrum were characterized by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), self-made device and UV/VIS/NIR spectrophotometer. The results showed that the content of Tb^3+ was restricted by the glass-forming region. The glass-forming ability and thermal stability of borosilicate glass were preferable with the content of 30% Tb2O3. The density and Verdet constant of borosilicate glass were linear basically with the concentration of Tb^3+ respectively. Also, the positions of absorption peaks of glasses containing rare earth were related with ionic species, and the intensities of absorption peaks were increased with the increment of Tb2O3.
