摘　　要：介绍了一种基于Linux操作系统的动态扩展MPEG-4智能视频监控系统。该智能视频监控系统采用主从设计方式实现动态扩展。采用运动物体检测跟踪算法对被监控物体进行智能检测和跟踪,实现智能报警和智能储存功能,该系统具有设计小型化、数字化和网络化等优点,智能报警、智能储存和动态扩展是其创新点。This paper presents a design of Extensible Digital Intelligent Video Surveillance System based on MPEG-4 and Linux OS. With the master-slaved communication mode, this surveillance system can be dynamically extended. Using detecting and tracking algorithm, it implements intelligent alarming and intelligent data storing. The highlights of the system are miniaturization, digital and network communication, and its innovative points are intelligent alarming, intelligent data storing and dynamic extensibility.
