摘　　要：本文以能反映建筑个性、传递建筑个性信息的"符号"及其相关理论作为研究的出发点。以厦门大学校园内不同年代、不同时期建筑形式的变化为主要研究对象,以时间为线索,以建筑为内容,探索其在传承文脉的价值意义。his paper focuses on the symbol and its relating theories,which can reflect the characteristics and information of buildings.In this article,the author tries to analysis the development of symbols' application in Xiamen University's architectures,real architecture built in different time,in order to provide the theoretical instruction for the future campus's design.
