摘　　要：如何处理道路交通与街区保护之间的关系是老城区保护和发展面临的突出问题。玉溪市在分析老城保护区道路交通存在的问题的基础上,总结了老城保护区交通规划的理念和原则,并从交通流系统组织、静态交通设施布设、公共交通系统优化、交通方式衔接及交通管理等方面对老城保护区道路交通规划进行了探讨,并提出在保护老城区空间肌理的基础上,要通过整合老城保护区道路交通资源、改善各交通子系统和科学组织动静态交通,才能改善老城保护区的出行环境,为老城保护区的发展提供基础保障。Transportation plans and historic preservation methods typically contradict each other in historic districts.The Yuxi historic district transportation plan analyzed existing transportation problems with different transportation principles and concepts.It addressed transportation organization,public transit,inter-modal connections,and transportation management.The plan keeps the historic road network and preserves the historic context.It improves transportation sub-systems and overall transportation conditions within the historic district.
