摘　　要：本文认为,严歌苓作品中的女性多处于社会边缘,呈现出卑微不堪的"跪着"生存的表象,但她们对罪恶、残酷施与宽容、谅解并不断在苦难中发现自我、确立自我和认同自我,将人生升华成对人性宽宥的赞歌和对人性思索的华章。This paper mainly analyzed the special female figures in Yan Gelin's Works:they lived in the low class of our society with crucial conditions all around .These ladies usually seems ignoble but they were not content kneel to live. So they tolerance and forgive the evil and cruelty . they suffered to find out they atman ensure they own and identify themselves!
