浅谈Similes与英汉审美价值取向

摘  要:该文就similes(明喻)的定义,类型及运用特征作了简要介绍,实证分析了英汉语言在明喻使用中的异同,进而分析了英汉审美价值取向的差异,从纯美学和美学语言学角度得出分析结论。明喻使用上,英语使用者与汉语使用者存在着共性与差异性。(一)从纯美学角度来说,明喻的创造过程本身就是一种艺术美的创造过程;其共性与差异性的存在是来源于审美价值的民族共性与民族差异性。(二)从美学语言学角度分析,其差异性源于英、汉语言使用者美感要求的差异以及英、汉语言使用者在审美过程注重语言性环境和非语言性环境因素在程度上发生的差异。This essay hereof is dedicated to offering a brief introduction of definitions, patterns and applying characteristics for similes and a positive analysis of the similarities and differences in using similes by English speakers and Chinese speakers, and further, the differences in aesthetic tendencies of value, and is to draw up the conclusions through the perspectives of pure Aesthetics and Aesthetic Linguistics. Using similes, the English speakers and Chinese speakers share many commonness, as well as exist some differences. (1) In terms of the aesthetic perspectives, the very invention of a simile is namely a kind of creation process of the art beautifulness; its commonness and differences are stemmed from the nations' commonness and difference in aesthetic tendencies of value. (2) In terns of some views form Aesthetic Linguistics, its differences are derived from the different extent of the demands for the aesthetic sense and the different aesthetic attending degree to the linguistic surroundings and non-linguistic surroundings occurred to the English speakers and Chinese speakers.
