摘　　要：词语的文化内涵决定着对词语的理解，并进而影响着对语言的学习。对词语文化内涵的不了解必定会阻碍英语的学习。因历史变迁、社会背景、社会价值取向等方面的原因，词语的文化内涵差异很大。弄清词语文化内涵的差异对学习英语非常重要。How we understand words and expressions depends on their connotation, which moreover has an influence on learning English. We could not learn English very well unless we know something about it. There is great difference in connotation of the words and expressions because of historic changes, social background, direction of social value and so on. It is very important to learn about connotation of the words and expressions
