摘　　要：Last May 29 was the 20th anniversary of the death Of Mme Soong Ching Ling. In memory of this great woman of the 20th century the Soong Ching Ling Foundation sponsored a series of commemorative activities at her former residence in Beijing, including an exhibition of events in her life and a seminar Israel Epstein, editor-in-chief emeritus of China Today and vice-chairman of the Soong Ching Ling Foundation, was once a close friend of Mme Soong.
