摘　　要：今年3月18日上午9时,是西南人民永远难忘的日子。当位于贵州境内的八渡车站接轨点落下最后一节钢轨,拧紧最后一颗螺栓时,国务院副总理邹家华宣布:南昆铁路全线胜利铺通。这一天,著名革命老区广西百色市举行了庆祝大会,汇集在百色火车站的当地各族群众为此载歌载舞。同时,Nanning Kunming Railway, starting from Nanning, Guangxi in the east, running throngh Hongguo, Guizhou in the north and other 19 counties(cities) and ending up atKunming, Yunnan in the west had its track laid through the whole line on Mar. 18, 1997. The workers and engineers set multiple new records in the history of railway building in China as well as in the world and created good conditions for the economic growth in Southwest China.
