摘  要:The connexion zone between the Yunkai Uplift and Qinzhou Depression is one of the im-portant tectonic problems in South China. It includes (i) Bobai-Cenxi deep fracture, (ii)terrane margin and (iii) synsedimentary fault and is believed to be formed in theThe connexion zone between the Yunkai Uplift and Qinzhou Depression is one of the important tectonic problems in South China. It includes (i) Bobai-Cenxi deep fracture([1]), (ii) .terrane margin([2,3]) and (iii) synsedimentary fault([4]) and is believed to be formed in the early Paleozoic. After the Caledonian Orogeny, its east part was evolved into the Yunkai Uplift, which comprises Caledonian progressive metamorphic zones from regional metamorphic rocks to migmatite or migmatic granite; whereas its west part was evolved into Hercynian Qinzhou geosyncline, which was closed in the late Hercynian. Besides, there are some problems: (i) the reason for lacking or thinning of the Cambrian, Ordovician, Silurian and part Devonian rocks; (ii) determination of the strata with the lacking of biochronological evidence; (iii) tectonic setting of deformation and metamorphism in the early Paleozoic; (iv) explanation of the Caledonian progressive metamorphic zones; (v) features of deformation and metamorphism, and the relation between tectonics and rock associations.
