It wasan important placo for the cultural association between nomadic nationalities on the Silk Roadand the farming nationalities in the oases to the south of the Tianshan Mountains. With nu-merous facts, this article proves the location of the old city, its climate, construction, historicalevotution and the course of its destruction.They can serve as rich and valuable historical data.
