摘　　要：The Thermopsis genus（Leguminoseae） is comprised of many species, some of which can be used as folk medicine for the treatment of rabies in China. Thermnopsis licentiana is one of the species and has not been studied yet. The present paper reports the separation and identification of a new quinolizidine alkaloid（crystal A;see Fig. 1）.
