摘　　要：笔者对明腰蜻 Pseudothemis zonata Burm.经多年饲养,详细地观察了各龄稚虫的特征,它的全部生活史和生活习性,尤其是发现其一龄稚虫出卵壳后外面还有一层薄膜包围,历时4～80秒即破膜而出成为二龄稚虫,这是一种非常特殊的有研究价值的生物学现象,这在国内属首次报道.This paper described the morphology and biology of Pseudothemis zonataBurmeister.This is a commen dragonfly that is widely distributed in north andeast China and also in Japan,Its body is almost black,but there is a bigyellow—white ringlike spot on the third and forth segments of its abdomen.Theauthor has reared this dragonfly for many years and reported the characteristicsof the nymph of every instar,its life history and habits.Especially the authordiscovered that its body is enveloped by a film when the first intar nymph emergesfrom the egg.About 4～80 seconds later,the film is broken and the second instarnymph emerges.This is a very special phenomenon in entomology worth sceintificstudy.This phenonmenon is first reported in China.Besides Pseudothemis zonataBarmeister,the author has discovered that Brachythemis contaminata Fab.has thisbiological phenomenon also.
