厦门西港泥沙淤积的分析

摘　　要：本文根据厦门西港的泥沙来源、底质沉积特性、潮间浅滩的泥沙动态和4条海堤修筑后,纳湖量减少及其对航道水深的影响,初步分析了该海区淤积的主要原因。This paper analyses the principal cause of the siltation in the West Harbour of Xiamen area according to the source of sediment, the properties of bottom sedimentation, the sediment movement in the tidal banks, the decreasad tidal prism after the completion of four causeways and their effects on the depth of navigation channels. At the same time, in the analysis of the tides the tidal currents and the sediment movement. We have found that the yearly sediments transported into the West Harbor does not excess 300000t. The calculation results of siltation show that the yearly siltation from the three options for the second construction stage is in the range of 200000m^3. Therefore, ahead for the second construction stage a bright future lies as well as the development of the West Harbor area..
