摘　　要：本文通过对新疆托克逊县及巴里坤县采集的62号沙虎(Teratoscincus)属标本稳定的形态特征与文献记载的 T.scincus Schlegel 进行了比较,认为此沙虎为一新种——托克逊沙虎。并对其生物学特性作了初步观察。A total of 62 specimens of Teratoscincus toksunicus were co- llected from Toksunin Xinjiang,during 1987～1988,They are considered as belonging to a new species. Teratosincus toksunicus,sp.nov. Holotype:NO:8851003.adult male collected on 1 May 1988.from Toksun County,Xinjiang.altitude-52M.42°～43°N.88°～89°E.kept in the August First Agricultue College. Paratype,NO:8851005,adult male,8851002,8851001,adult female. locality and date same as the Holotype. Diagnosis:This new Teratoseineus is similar to T.Scincus Schlegel. but deffers the latter in having:1).Smaller in size,and the length of the head and body is not execeeding 95 MM in adult.2).There are eight to ten supralabial and infralabial respertively:from 25 to 80 scale round the mid- dle of body.They are less than the T.scincus.
