摘　　要：聚乳酸(polylactic acid,PLA)是以乳酸为单体经化学合成的新型生物降解性高分子材料。本文较全面地介绍了聚乳酸的合成与改性方法,并预示了聚乳酸材料的研究开发前景。Polylactic acid（PLA） is a newly biodegradable high- polymer material synthesized from its monome, lactic acid. It has the characteristics such as no toxicity, no irritation and good biocompatibility. It can be also biodegraded into carbon dioxyde and water, which will not cause any environmental pollution. This paper reviews the general situations of synthesis and modification processes of poly（ lactic acid）, and also provided a prospect for the recent trend of PLA.
