摘 要:GeoVRML技术支持多种坐标系统和参考椭球体,数据表达精度高,三维建模功能强大,可有效构建三维地形模型.运用GeoVRML技术对吉林省东部山区进行了三维地形可视化研究,实现了大规模地形数据到GeoVRML数据文件格式的转换、海量数据的快速、准确、实时显示,取得了较好的效果,为利用虚拟现实建模语言进行地理信息的三维可视化表达及相关研究提供了研究案例.Although there are many new techniques related to 3D model construction and surface analysis, the storage of 3D data and high resolution and quick display of these vast data are still the main problems that back up the development of 3D visualization. The GeoVRML technique supports various coordinate systems and reference ellipsoids, which is the more practical function in application fields. It has high data expression accuracy and the ability of construction of 3D model effectively. Taking the eastern mountain area of Jilin Province as the study area, this paper supplies the example for the 3D terrain visualization and realizes the conversion between large scale terrain data and GeoVRML data, quickly, exactly and real-time display of a mass of spatial data by the utility of GeoVRML technique. The advanced spatial analysis based on GeoVRML, such as flood analysis, terrain roaming, can provide the basis of control flood and soil erosion for local government departments decision-making.
