摘　　要：泡沫细胞是早期动脉粥样硬化的标志。内皮损伤所致的炎症反应,是泡沫细胞形成的一个重要始动因素。近年的研究发现,Toll样受体4(TLR4)在血管内皮细胞参与的免疫炎症反应中表达,并在血管内皮损伤以及内皮细胞相关疾病中起着重要作用,可能从多种途径参与了泡沫细胞的形成与发展。氧化型低密度脂蛋白(ox-LDL)、脂多糖(LPS)可以诱导巨噬细胞向泡沫细胞转化,且细胞内TLR4的表达显著升高;而用中药虎杖苷、山楂提取物及其配伍干预,则可以不同程度的抑制TLR4的表达。本文就TLR4在泡沫细胞形成中的作用及中医药干预研究作一综述,以期对进一步TLR4的机制研究及以TLR4为靶点的药物干预研究提供新的思路。Foam cell is a signal of earlier artheroselerosis. The impairment of endothelium induces inflammatory reaction that is an important initiating agent of foam cell formation. The recent research showed that toll like receptor 4 （TLR4） could express in immuno - inflammatory reaction of vascular endothelial cell and was important in vascular endothelial impairment. And it was correlated diseases with endothelial cell,which might participate in the foam cell formation and development through all kinds of channels. Our re- search showed that α - LDL and LPS could induce macrophage into foam cell and increase expression of TLR4. The intervention with polygonum or hawthorn extract or both of them could resist expression of TLR4 more or less. This article summarized the effect of TLR4 in foam cell formation and the intervention study of traditional Chinese medicine. We wish that could provide an idea for the mechanism and medicine - intervention study of TLR4.
