摘　　要：超材料(Metamaterial)是一门日益兴起的新学科。近年来超材料及其应用技术正飞速发展,其研究论文及成果迅速增加。利用文献计量分析方法和汤姆森数据分析器(TDA)软件对超材料1998-2007年间的研究论文进行分析,主要包括研究论文的年代与国家分布、学科领域分布、研究机构分布、期刊分布、作者分布等,并对研究主题进行了分析。Metamaterial is a new emerging discipline. In recent years, the research on metamaterial and its application technology is developing rapidly, so the research papers and the outcomes also increase rapidly. In this paper, research papers on metamaterial from 1998 to 2007 are analyzed through bibliometric analysis methods and Thomson data analyzer （TDA） software, the distribution of years, countries, subject categories, research institutions, journals, authors and the research subjects are analyzed.
