摘　　要：西周时期的"礼射",是射箭比赛与西周尊礼文化相融合的产物。研究发现:西周的礼射不仅具有军事功能,而且具有教育教化作用,随着"礼"与"乐"结合的深入,礼射在西周末期成为一项高雅的娱乐活动,具有娱乐性,其完善的竞赛规则和程序更是我国早期竞技体育运动的一个缩影。The ＂ritual archery＂ in Western Zhou Dynasty is a combination of the archery and the ritual culture of Western Zhou Dynasty. The author draws the conclusion that the ＂ritual archery＂ in Western Zhou Dynasty not has the military function, but also the educational function. As the ＂rite＂ and the ＂amusement＂ connect tightly ＂ritual archery＂ developes into an elegant recreational activity at the end of Western Zhou Dynasty, whose rules only , the and procedure are the epitome of China＇s early athletic Sports.
