摘  要:胡秋原与左翼作家虽然都抵制"民族主义文艺运动"等,但出发点不同。胡秋原反对"用一种中心意识,独裁文坛",左翼则认为"向进步的方向勇敢迈进,作为解放斗争的武器",才是文学现实存在的惟一正确形态。这样,双方实际上都同时成了对方的否定对象。胡秋原对左翼的批评更多是有的放矢,且不乏真知灼见。苏汶同样反对文学一味的政治工具化,主张创作自由,一些见解还更具独到之处。Although both Hu Qiu-yuan and the Left-wing writers are against "the nationalist movement in literature and art", they are different in their purposes. Hu Qiu-yuan is in opposition to the views of "the literary world should be dictated by central consciousness" while the I^fi-wing writers think that literature should be considered as "the brave advance towards the progressive direction and the fighting weapon for liberation", which is the only correct form of literature. Thus, both sides have become the objects of negation for the other side. However, Hu Qiuyuan's criticism is with distinct aim and penetrating judgment whilst Su Wen is also resistant to the views that literature is only used to serve politics. Su further advocates the freedom of creation. Some of his viewpoints have more profound insight.
