摘　　要：不同学者对水资源承载力概念、承载对象等基本问题的认识存在明显分歧,以至于有人提出要放弃这个概念。鉴于此,作者在说明该概念有必要存在的基础上,通过探讨水资源承载力概念的来源,讨论不同学者对水资源承载力的界定,提出了对这些问题的新认识。Different scholars＇ understandings about the basic concepts such as water resources carrying capacity, the carried objects, etc. diverge greatly. Some scholars even suggest giving up the concepts. Considering this, the author holds that it is necessary to retain these concepts and puts forwards new understandings about them through exploring the source of the concept of water resources carrying capacity and discussing different definitions of water resources carrying capacity by different scholars.
