摘　　要：珠三角经济飞速发展的一个重要表征是镇区经济的发展与壮大.东莞市东城区的成功得益于在整个珠三角具有普遍意义的经济发展模式:坚定不移地走工业强区战略,有步骤推进工业化进程;营造良好的商业环境,打造商贸东城的工商并举的模式.The important expression of fast economic development in Pearl River Delta came into the economy of townships in this region. Dongcheng district of Dongguan city owes its success to the economic development model popularized in Pearl River Delta. That is to accelerate the process of industrialization step by step, to follow the strategy of industrialization unswervingly, to create favorable conditions for business, to build Dongcheng into an advantageous location for both commerce and industry.
