摘　　要：本文根据我馆的实践，论述了网络化多媒体阅览室的意义、作用。多媒体技术为读者提供了崭新的学习环境；多种感知参与的学习活动有利于提高记忆力和学习效率；网络化多媒体可使多媒体资源得以很大程度地共享。该文还介绍了一些行之有效的管理措施。According to the practice in Shanghai Medical University Library, discussed in this paper are the significance, function and management of the networked multimedia reading room.The author considers that multimedia technology provides the readers a completely new study environment, the study activities with multi - senses are advantageous to improving one's memory and study efficiency, multimedia resources can be shared to a great extent by networked multimedia technology as compared with a single workstation. Some effective measures of management are also put forward.
