摘　　要：简要介绍了机敏结构和材料的概念及其在国内外的研究动态；从复合材料、机敏结构和材料及其基础技术在石油工业中的应用实例及潜力等方面探讨了机敏结构和材料在这一工业领域中应用的广阔前景，以期为我国石油工业部门研究和应用起到抛砖引玉的作用．The concepts and the overseas research developments of smart structures and materials are introduced. Their prospect and potential of application in petroleum industry are discussed by some examples in order to serve the petroleum industry of our country.
