摘　　要：南唐后主李煜是个文学奇才。他不善治国,却精于治词。李煜在治国上、政治上是个失败者,他不是一个好的政治家,但在政治方面对李煜的评价也应该中肯,特别是对李煜生活奢侈程度和为人的评价上,应该结合当时南唐的经济基础进行评述。在词作方面,李煜的词具有卓越的艺术特色。他的词作具有"真性情"、"真境界",因此深得后人喜爱,对后人影响较大,在中国文学史上也具有重要的地位。One of the emperors of Tang Dynasty, Li Yu was a genius in literature. He was not good at managing the country, but good at making poems. Li Yu was a failure in operating the country. His was not a good statesman. But the evaluation of him from the political perspective should be more objective, especially on his luxurious life and personality. The evaluation should be connected with the economy of that time. On the creation of poems, His poems maintained the characteristics of sincerity with outstanding artistic feature. Therefore, His poems are popularly preferred by the successors and greatly influenced the people. His poems played an important role in the history of Chinese literature.
