摘　　要：讨论了h指数评价的意义及其与传统评价指标作了对比,指出传统的对学术期刊的评价方法被引频次、影响因子等评价指标已经不能完全反映期刊的学术水准,而h指数作为新的评价指标在图书馆文献情报的建设中是非常必要的。This paper analyzes the significance of h-index and contrasts it with traditional evaluating indexes, and it indicates that the traditional evaluating indexes such as times cited and impact factor are not sufficient to reflect the academic level of journals, and therefore the h-index as the new evaluating indexes is absolutely necessary in building a library.
