摘　　要：查阅了大量古籍、地方志资料和鸟类文献,全面系统地总结了中国、日本以及俄罗斯(西伯利亚)在不同年代关于朱鹮的古籍记录、地方称呼及其变化。从中可以了解朱鹮的过去,如古代地理分布、生活习性、灭绝原因、相对数量以及分布地区的文化背景等。A great deal of ancient books, local chronicles, and ornithological literatures were refered to investigate the local names and their changes of the Nipponia nippon in China, Japan, Korea and Siberia during different eras, and to have a better understanding of this bird, such as the ancient geographical distributions, ecological habits, extincted causes, relative numbers and the cultural backgrounds of distribution regions of the N. nippon.
