摘　　要：开罗作为中东和非洲地区的大都市,其人口问题由来已久。人口的自然增长和机械增长、政府的政策导向与传统文化等因素相互作用,使开罗人口问题日趋严重。人地矛盾尖锐、基础设施匮乏、贫富分化严重、人口素质下降等成为当地政府必须面对的难题。为解决人口问题对社会和环境的压力,埃及政府采取多项措施,控制人口自然增长:实现人口在各地的最佳分布,限制开罗人口机械增长;通过"向沙漠地区分散",减少耕地浪费;加大投资力度,缓解"城市病"。这些措施的实施,有助于缓解人口困境,但是人口所引发的一系列问题仍将长期困扰开罗。Issues of population of Cairo,one of the biggest cities in the Middle East and Africa,have long existed.The factors of population growth,government policy guidance and traditional cultures have interacted to worsen the issues of population of Cairo.The local government is being confronted with hard problems such as contradictions between people and land,lack of infrastructures,serious gaps between the rich and the poor,reduced population qualities,etc..In order to relieve the pressures from the population issues on society and environment,the Egyptian government has taken measures to control the natural growth of national population,restrict population growth from migration in Cairo to realize the most reasonable population distribution,reduce land wasting by distributing population to desert areas and invest more to solve the urban diseases.Although all the implemented measures can be helpful for relieving population jam,the issues arounsed from population will long worry Cairo.
