摘　　要：中国是一个统一的多民族国家,只有立足于多元民族文化的实际去发展民族社会工作,才能真正推进社会工作在中国的本土化进程。民族地区欠发达的状况,也使少数民族总的来说处于相对弱势的地位,需要得到更多的关注与支持,发展民族社会工作应该成为创新传统民族工作机制的一种有效手段。China is a multi - national country, and the localization process of social work in China will not be promoted unless developing the national social work based on the actual situation of multi - national culture. Besides, the status of undeveIoped minority concentrated regions places the minorities on a relatively weaker position. Therefore, the minorities need our more attentions and supports. Developing national social work should become an effective means to the innovation of traditional nationality work mechanism.
