摘　　要：欧洲中世纪史诗是日耳曼氏族文化向封建制社会过渡的产物,是蛮族文化中的英雄意识转化为欧洲中世纪英雄观念的范本,也是中世纪文明特有的基督教观念影响下产生的文本。欧洲中世纪史诗塑造了人性更为复杂的英雄主人公,显示了对人的自身认识所达到的新的高度。同时,基督教的历史观和基督教文化中的"自省"精神对也是中世纪史诗文化的价值所在。The epic in middle ages of Europe is the transition result of German culture to feudal society, and it is the model from hero in savage nationality to hero idea of medieval. At the same time, the Christianity effects on the creation of the epic. The epics in medieval shape the hero with complex human nature, which show the human beings understand selves more deeply and complicated. ＂ The self- observance＂ in Christianity enriches the epic of medieval.
