摘　　要：以中国古典美学的相关理论剖析《黑暗之心》文本中"言"、"意"、"象"的关系。言、意、象三者不是静态意义上的结构,而是动态情势下的构造。由于这一过程的精神性质即是指向人的意识审美要求,研究它们之间的关系才能把握小说文本的艺术世界。By applying some theories of classical Chinese aesthetics, this article attempts to make an analysis of the relationship of the wording（ 言）, the meaning（意） and the image（ 象）, which form the artistic world of the novel Heart of Darkness. The conclusion is, studying on the relationship of the three, a floating and abstract process within a fiction that satisfies the requirement from the call of appreciation of beauty, one possibly can grasp the artistic world of a novel.
