摘　　要：随着地理信息系统(GIS)技术在各个应用领域的推广使用,GIS技术与地理空间信息的表示、处理、分析和应用手段的不断发展紧密相连,形成了各种不同功能的GIS系统软件。分析了当前GIS的应用方向和发展状况,阐述了今后GIS的发展趋势及其应用领域,介绍了GIS技术创新的3种模式,即技术推动型、需求拉动型和混合型。促进GIS技术创新的重要途径是引入其他技术和应用的深入。With the application of GIS technology in each field, GIS software with different functions were formed on the basis of the close contact between GIS technology and continuous development of the express, disposal, analysis and application measures of geographic space information. The application direction and development situation of GIS were analyzed. The development trend and application fields of GIS in the further were described. Three new technological innovation models of GIS were introduced, including technology-driven, demand-pull and mixed type. The important ways to promote GIS innovation were that introducing other technology and deepening the application.
