摘　　要：LiveMedia是国外用于流媒体开发的开源C++代码,已经在VLC和MPlayer等开源流媒体播放软件中得到应用.文章对LiveMedia的组成和功能进行了分析,并对LiveMedia在视频点播方面的应用进行了详细的阐述,对流媒体的开发人员来说具有一定的参考价值.LiveMedia, a kind of foreign open source code, was written by C ＋ ＋ computer language to develop streaming media. It has been applied in some streaming media player software such as＂ VLC＂ and＂ MPlayer＂. This paper analyzes the architecture and function of the LiveMedia, and discusses the application in video on command in detail. It can be referenced by developer in streaming media field.
